How The TripleStar System Works

1. Heat detection above the cooking zone

A pneumatic detection tube is installed inside the hood, positioned directly over fryers, grills, chargrills and cooktops. It detects heat right where fires start.

2. Tube bursts at fire temperature

When exposed to high temperatures (around 175°C), the tube ruptures at the closest point to the fire. No wiring. No electronics. No external power required.

3. Automatic agent discharge

The pressure drop opens the system valve and releases the Class F/K wet chemical agent. It smothers the flame, cools the oil and prevents reignition.

4. Protection for appliances, hoods and ducting

The agent covers the high-risk zone to stop the fire spreading through filters and extraction ducting, keeping damage and downtime to a minimum.
